New Bush Doctrine: beyond "plausible deniability"

Fri Oct 27, 2006 at 12:48:14 PM PDT

Remember when "plausible deniability" was enough to save an officeholder's skin? The Bush team has now moved beyond that. Their current strategy is to say that something couldn't have happened because it would have been too stupid.  Let's call it...

Deniable Implausibility.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 at 07:41:21 PM PDT

If Joe Lieberman's campaign staff is already planning an independent run, they must be considering other already-established parties. And third parties might be ready to extend their nomination.

Let's play matchmaker for the renegade Democrat.

Hmmm.

The Right-to-Life Party?
--they must love his position on denying hospital beds to rape victims

How about The Republican Party?

Any others?
